Gray Water Ponds in Winter

Even watching from the kitchen window it is pure therapy to watch laundry water rush across the ice of our gray water ponds. At 4*F with a -14*F windchill there is very little chance of the ice completely thawing today! We wash all our laundry with cold water so we aren't wasting precious money heating water. This cold laundry water provides drinks for local wildlife while our ponds are frozen.
