Dead Sea Scrolls Bible

Thought I'd check out the differences between a more original Bible and the King James Version.
For my own reference I really would prefer what's as close to God's originally intended Bible as is currently available in English!

Proverbs 3

Not my scheduled reading for today, but this is where my Bible opened ...
and the paper telling me what day I'm at with the challenges has disappeared!
I am very blessed for this reading as He is on time as usual! It totally pertains to my day.
Be blessed
and
Read On!

Sort and Stack?

Well, as chilly weather set in, Matt and I are restacking the firewood on hand in an effort to assess our preparedness for the coming winter.
As it looks now, we are in a bit of trouble!

Looking Back... as Life Repeats Itself...

As I watch my granddaughter systematically pull papers off my daughter's office shelves with a look of,"Oh, Mom, why did you put these here when they obviously belong over there!!", I'm taken back to my daughter doing the same to all my lower kitchen cabinets, drawers and under my kitchen sink!
Ah, those were the days!!!

A Man with a Job!

Morning!
Okay, so I have to tell you that, although there are still a lot of cans left to crush at my house, Matt filled the back of the Jeep with huge bags of crushed cans last night. He worked until he was quite sleepy!
This morning, on the way to a day of swimming at Boys and Girls club, we spent five (5) minutes at Berlinsky's Scrap Corp cashing in those cans. Matt cashed in 19 lbs of aluminum and walked away with $11.02!!!
Now 10% will go to tithes Sunday morning and the rest toward his project car!
WooHoo!
Way to go Matthew Joyce!!!
