Wear as a skirt...
or a petticoat... I prefer petticoat!
Day 8~ home with Matt as he's under the weather today. Wow, have I gotten a lot of laundry done!! Just occurred to me that someone's gonna have to fold this laundry... I think I have load 10 in the washer!
What have I done to myself?!?!
As cooler weather creeps in and snowy days are not far off I have to ask, "Do you have enough blankets to get through an emergency?"
Yes, I know, your bed is toasty right now and you have a new, smoothly running furnace... but, what if the power goes out or the gas? Do you have enough blankets to keep your entire family warm in that sort of emergency?
In our area electric can be off for weeks after a severe storm. That's a long time to go without a working furnace or hot water heater. And nowhere to plug in a space heater!
Are you ready for that?
Could you make time to hit your thrift store or Walmart for a few back-up comfortors for each member of your household?
Just a thought...
I'm still exhausted, but even more so...
I need to make coffee and take another mega vitamin as I have bills to pay so must head for work...
Just want to sleep... don't like being this worn out with little to no hope of catching up....
Day 6~ honestly I didn't even light the candle yesterday at all. I'm completely exhausted to the point I'd call off work if Matt didn't have school today. Tonight I hope to come straight home, get a bath and climb in bed.
I am blessed as Matt will enjoy making dinner. He'll happily bring in his dry laundry and hang his washed loads. Then we can fold it together while we watch a good movie.
I am exhausted,
I am truly blessed!
As I look at my half made bed I can almost hear Pooh saying, 'Karen, you are exhausted. Come back to bed!'
Meanwhile, I have a naked 12-year-old singing "I'm a pork chop monkey brain" next to a filling bath tub (if you figure this out you may become a 12-year-old boy!).
My coffee's waiting patiently on my night stand and it's time to get dressed...
Sorry, Pooh, but I have to go to work today. I think Matt and I will be having an early early night tonight!
