As I sit here quilting tonight I am still pondering and praying on this verse. Don't get me wrong, I understand the meaning of the verse.
My objective is properly applying it to my life . . not married or even dating right now, but looking at how this verse could have been better applied to previous marriages. And, should a miracle happen, how should this be applied to a future marriage?
Putting the marriage above other family commitments is primary. Putting each other first (after God) is essential.
