Hi! Welcome back.
Genesis 19:26 is the next verse in the study . . Lot's wife and a pile of salt . .
My Companion Bible says it was her "curiosity" . .
My NKJV Bible says "she was reluctant to leave" . . .
I do think it's very easy to get caught up in wondering what our lives would have been like should we have chosen not to marry/marry someone else . . that reluctance to let go of the single life also plays into it . .
But, by choosing that sweet man as your husband, it is important to focus ahead on the life and adventure ahead as a couple and a family!
There is nothing but destruction to be gained by looking back.
