Dead Sea Scrolls Bible ~ Exodus 24:26-37

Simply a quiet time to read and study . .
I am wondering:/
  * acacia wood was only for the ark of the covenant and this one temple . . or should we be using it for all churches?
  * veils "of blue, purple and scarlet threads with fine twined linen" . . for this one temple  . . or for all churches?

Also, on a side note, I read in another verse that we are(were?) to pray facing Jerusalem . . . was this meant to be permanent?
