I'm so close to finished with this quilt top . . not wanting it to get sloppy . . taking my time and doing it right . . . to me the colors on the patches lay out like many fields planted with different crops. . deep shadows and bursts of color . . Matt's graduation gown . . my jammies and old work t-shirts . . scraps from baby dresses I've sewn . . old worn out bed sheets . . bits of this and that . . bits of our lives . . all stitched together with love, tears and prayers . . .
