30*F here in Joliet, IL . .
I came home to a running furnace as it was set at 65*F!! That temperature has us simply handing Nicor gas my money!!
Now the fire is going and I've turned the thermostat down to 50*F. Normally we set it at 55*F, but I want to see how this setting will affect us. The last time I bothered having a fire in the woodstove it was still 62*F the next morning without the furnace kicking on or me getting up in the night to add wood to the fire!! This new stove sure is way more efficient than the old model!!!
