| Ell, folks, it's 61F according to the thermostat (ans -6F outside), yet the furnace hasn't kicked on in over an hour! Matt and I sit here comfy in short sleeve shirts as we eat spaghetti dinner and watch a movie (Lost in Space). As we passed MorningStar Mission earlier there were droves of men headed that way for warmth and a good hot dinner. We ate breakfast there the morning our youth group went to serve the homeless and I'm here to tell you they have really really good food! Such a bitterly cold night to be sleeping on the streets! Say a prayer for them tonight, please... |
