| Well, the house is nice and warm without having the furnace kick on! Right now the thermostat is set at 55F, but the living room (a ways from the wood stove) is 61F!!! Free Heat!!! As we progress towards bedtime, I'm stoking the fire so we'll be roasty-toasty all night and Nicor gas will keep their greedy hands out of my wallet!!! Folks, all I can say is, " Put in a wood stove as soon as possible. It may very well be the one thing that keeps your family financially afloat through these tough times! Stay warm and be blessed!!! |
