| As cooler weather creeps in and snowy days are not far off I have to ask, "Do you have enough blankets to get through an emergency?" Yes, I know, your bed is toasty right now and you have a new, smoothly running furnace... but, what if the power goes out or the gas? Do you have enough blankets to keep your entire family warm in that sort of emergency? In our area electric can be off for weeks after a severe storm. That's a long time to go without a working furnace or hot water heater. And nowhere to plug in a space heater! Are you ready for that? Could you make time to hit your thrift store or Walmart for a few back-up comfortors for each member of your household? Just a thought... |
