St. John 20:19-20

This morning I opened my Bible . . .
He led me to this passage . . .

"19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed them unto his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord."
~ copied from Scofield Reference Bible KJV

Because it was the first day of the week the doors were shut ~ because it was Sunday they were not holding church services. This is because we were commanded to hold Sabbath on the seventh day of the week . . .

Genesis 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

If you look at your calendar the seventh day is Saturday, plain and simple. Nowhere in the Bible does it say we should worship and rest on Sunday, the first day of the week!!
Worship and rest on Sunday was not God's idea, it was man's. Constantine, in particular. He wanted men to serve the sun god so changed the Sabbath to Sundays, allowing only farmers to be exempt from the mandatory rest day.

Who do you serve?
Who's Sabbath do you follow?
