Rainy Christmas Eve on Our Homestead

I've heard this will turn to 3-5" of snow, but am busy watching news on shooting and riots in Berkeley, Missouri . . .
I am beginning to wonder if I should begin to till my garden and spread compost . . .
Are we going to get a winter?
