Looking at the country song "never give up, never say quit, never back down"... now is the time we absolutely have to live that way...
Visited 3 Avon customers... delivered order and collected $ plus deposits on 2 new orders... Avon order in and all items for customers will ship... alley parkway pruned and grass trimmed... path front to back of house pruned some... front rain garden pruned... any poison ivy spotted was sprayed with round-up poison ivy spray and should be dead within days!!!
Will be making fresh homemade grape-rhubarb jam tomorrow after attending church service and helping with the sweet little punkins in nursery...
As the world seems to be careening faster and faster out of control with Ebola virus dangerously spreading fast, way too many wars going simultaneously and winter hinting at a very early start, I am inclined to think I need to step up my game and prep faster. As there are many days I return from work dead tired, this is going to be interesting. But survival is simply not enough anymore... we have to thrive, not just survive. God did not intend for us to barely get by.
And, on that note, I am reassessing everything we do each day for it's importance and whether or not it is the most efficient way to get ahead. If President Obama were to quarantine Illinois I want to be ready to have my family comfortable and self sufficient. One thing Hurricane Katrina should have taught us was to not count on the government for help. As our country falls apart more and more those who are prepared will simply be the only survivors.
Who will you be?
