| Good Morning! As you can see I have changed my hair color. Actually, I have gone through the necessary process to just quit coloring. This is so very kool! The hair on top of my head is 90- 100% gray and I've been having to color every 2-3 weeks to keep up with outgrowth. What a waste of time and money when healthy, unprocessed white hair is So Pretty! Step #1 was to go to Sally Beauty Supply and buy color stripper and a toner to take out as much brassiness (left by red hair color) as possible. I am so grateful, at this point, for my Managing Cosmetologist License (from Ma Chere Hair Styling Academy, Toledo, OH) as the schooling provided the knowledge and confidence to accomplish this. At home I sectioned off the area (top of my head) that is 90- 100% gray and coated the area around it very thickly with cholesterol. Then I applied the color remover and waited. I couldn't remove all the red. From there I applied a toner to remove a bit of the brassiness. Looking good.. and natural!! |
