Finding Favor with the Lord
1611 KJV. Genesis 30
"[17]And God hearkened vnto Leah, and she conceiued, and bare Iacob the fift sonne."
Can you even imagine finding this level of favor with the Lord?!! What a huge blessing. I, personally, have a situation I'm praying about and trusting God will come through. I know my prayers line up with the Bible. I know I'm doing my best to live a holy life. All I can do is pray, trust and wait.

Although I feel like I'm moving super slow I'm really not. I'm actually at about my normal speed of 2.6 mph .. I'm at 2.3 mph today. I can live with that!!
I am a little sore ..
But . .
Looking ahead, which absolutely has to be my focus, this current discomfort is a necessity to get my full-time hours so Matt and I are financially set to move on with our lives.
As I clean bathrooms I listen to Irish Christian music . . my soul is touched .. all praise to Him who cares for, provides for and protects Matt and I. I know He has glorious plans for our future and am letting Him deal with my worries. He is better able to deal with it all.

This is my first day back on cleaning at work so I may be a bit slow as I get back into the groove.
I'm still sore from an emergency appendectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago . .
And, frankly, the risk of reinjury is a bit daunting.
Later I will share about the surgery (tried to blog it but lost that battle with Blogger) and about my days since then. A lot has happened and my perspective has changed so you will need updates to follow my new path without is gaps that make no sense.
Have a blessed, all!!
Genesis 39:31
1611 KJV. Genesis 29
[31]¶ And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, hee opened her wombe: but Rachel was barren.

He protects and provides for His children. . .

Trump Wants Vouchers for Homeschooling!!
I thought you might like this article on Slate:
Trump Proposes Home-School Vouchers for Poor Kids. He's Talking in Code.
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/propublica/2016/09/trump_s_home_school_voucher_plan_a_dumb_idea_that_no_one_wants.html?wpsrc=sh_all_mob_em_top
Okay, so obviously I disagree with the article. I'm homeschooling and this voucher would really help. My taxes pay for schools. The local high school gets approximately $3000-5000 of tax money per student per year to educate them. The money that used to be allocated to educate my child should be able to fund homeschooling him.
All I can say is, "Thank you, Donald Trump for noticing the need."

Genesis 27:41-45
1611 KJV. Genesis 27:41-45
"[41]¶ And Esau hated Iacob, because of the blessing, wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The dayes of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Iacob.
[42]And these words of Esau her elder sonne were told to Rebekah: And shee sent and called Iacob her yonger sonne, and said vnto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doeth comfort himselfe, purposing to kill thee.
[43]Now therefore my sonne, obey my voice: and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother, to Haran.
[44]And tary with him a few dayes, vntill thy brothers furie turne away;
[45]Untill thy brothers anger turne away from thee, and hee forget that, which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be depriued also of you both in one day?"
What we do to others will always come back on us.
Always
If you are a blessing to your neighbors, someone will be a blessing to you, but more so.
But
If you are a curse to your neighbors, someone else will be a curse on your life, but more so.
Rebekah brought curses upon herself by her sneaky conniving behavior.
What will you sew in your life?
Does Where You Sleep Determine Character??
Does the place someone lives directly determine their character?
Is someone living in a castle automatically more honest than someone in an apartment?
Is a man living in his semi truck due to his employment less trustworthy than a man living in a house?
Should a family living in a motel or homeless shelter be considered a bad risk for employment?
Does where a person chooses to live determine their character and honesty?
My Savior was born in a barn. Back then most barns were more like caves. Did that make Him untrustworthy?
Jesus was born into a poor family. Did that make Him a shady character?
Can you imagine treating Jesus the way so many living different lifestyles are treated today??!??!

Stepping Back/Looking Forward
Every now and then I like to take a few steps back. This helps me see things more clearly.
Stepping back can make the bigger picture much clearer.
And it helps me see what makes my little family truly happy.
Amazing as it may sound. .
And as much as we enjoyed visiting Mom . .
We were happy to get home to our little camper.
And so I know,
We are most content together. .
With less possessions . .
And more family time.
Now to plan our next adventure!!
