      I am thinking I will add green beans (as we have a enormous can of these) and top it with two (2) cans of enchilada sauce . . .
       What's your current pantry surprise meal?

Really, we don't, but this is something I've been saying daily for years now.
Maybe it's the ASD, maybe because he's a teen boy . . . the dropping of all trash anywhere but in the wastebasket!!
Really, what is it?
Is he offended by the wastebaskets?
Have they viciously attacked him in his sleep and I was unaware??!

       I just realized that with the move and downsizing we no longer have Christian music 24/7 in our home. We are unable to get our favorite stations on the stereo here, so will try bringing in our own.

De-Clutter ~ 500 Things in 14 Days =2642 Items so Far!!!

       Hi! Welcome back! How are you doing with this challenge?!!
       We spent a good portion of Sunday sorting out more of our house and these are some of the 239 additional items we eliminated. I can tell you that the more we de-clutter the better we feel.
       We dropped the bin along with three (3) antique suit cases off at MorningStar Mission. The organizers and boxes were left at the curb along with a chair (most were taken by Wednesday evening).
      I am noticing that the less stuff there is in my house the more I like the house itself.

De-Clutter ~ 500 Things in 14 Days. . .

Hello there!!
How are you doing with this challenge?
Still sorting and eliminating clutter?
Over the last few days we have sorted out more to throw away and donate . .
Tonight, at the laundromat, I threw away more excess . . .
So many items had been used long past their actual usefulness!!

Then, outside the laundromat, I ran into a sweet man who pops into the laundromat to watch TV . .
He had his grocery cart with a few empty black trash bags in it . . .
Quietly I led him to our trunk and blessed him with as many empty aluminum cans as he was willing to accept. . . .
He wouldn't take all the cans (he really wanted to get inside to watch TV) . . .
It was heartwarming to hear him singing as he helped me pull cans out of my trunk . .

Between what we eliminated at the house . . .
Old clothes and bedding I threw away at the laundromat . . .
And all those cans . . .

We added 214 additional items to our tally!!
2189+214=2403 items eliminated . . .
So far!!!
And we're still not done!!

Down My Rabbit Hole . . .

       Good morning! How is your rabbit hole looking? Have you stepped back to take a good long look at it recently?
       I've been reassessing mine daily (minute-by-minute OCD-style!!) and am seeing some things I need to address. . . 
       First, I must say our new mobile homestead is something we should have done years ago!! There are always tweaks to make, tiny adjustments, but we are incredibly happy!!! And, as an added bonus, everyone associated with our new mobile homestead is so sweet . . . we couldn't feel more welcome there.
       And the rest?
     Well, I have been looking into setting up online sales of the items I make . . . that is the next logical step in running my own business and being able to be totally mobile . . . now where did I put the list of potential business names??!
       What are you currently doing to revamp/remodel/rebuild your rabbit hole?
      

Making Your Home a Haven

As we sort and pack to move it's important to try to keep things as normal as possible. With everything being turned upside down and inside out as we downsize we need as much "normalcy" as possible.  Candles lit in various rooms add a touch of warmth and a quiet reminder to pray for both this homestead and our new one!
