| Tonight I finally got around to dehydrating all those bananas I got on sale for $1.00/ bunch! I've peeled and sliced the bananas and placed the slices on a dehydrator tray. Tonight, for fun, I've sprinkled each with pumpkin pie spice for a little extra flavor. I've set the temperature on my Excalibur dehydrator at 135F and will leave it there for an hour or so. At that point I'll turn it down to 115F until I wake tomorrow. My house is going to smell so yummy! And be a tiny bit warmer too! |
