Down the Rabbit Hole . . .

       Good Friday morning to you!!
Welcome to the rabbit hole . . 
       Here's how I came to this:
Yesterday I was talking to a coworker who looked unhappy  . . . my thought for them was this. . .
Look at every day at work as falling down the rabbit hole like in "Alice in Wonderland" . . .
Every day is a new adventure and you can either make it good or bad at your own discretion . . .
You can talk to the Cheshire Cat, Blue Caterpillar, Mad Hatter or Queen of Hearts .  . . .
And from those conversations and new perspectives, you can walk away happy or sad . . .
       So for me today . .?
I have fallen back into the rabbit hole. .
My day is quiet so far as I explore . .  .
Today my wonderland is peaceful, prayerful and blessed. . .

Twisted Crazy Quilt

Watching "Not Easily Broken" and quilting. . .
I'm so glad we bought this DVD (been wanting it a while). . .
I'll definitely be watching it again!
I've already put in 114.25 hours on this quit top . . . .
And yet only about 25℅ finished!!
Adding the buttons, lace and beads is seriously multiplying the hours spent as compared to the 'meager' 150+ hours spent on My First Crazy Quilt. . .
But the buttons, beads and lace offer me greater creative outlets .  .
I'm having fun, so the time spent is inconsequential!!!!

In My War Room . . .

> Okay, so I peeked into a War Room prayer book at Walmart last night . . .
> Today I set a blank piece of paper next to me as I did my bookkeeping.   . .
> I slowly, as it came to me, added headings.  . then subheadings.  .  
> It was interesting to watch it fall into place throughout my day .  .
> And now?
> I need a prayer for each subheading. . . .
> And, looking at our new home, Shangri-La, this evening, I am wondering were my war room will be .  . . .  ?

My Paid Work~Out Program!!

Good morning!!
Hoping Tuesday finds you well and ready to limber up!
Me? Feeling a bit better and already into my workout.

In My War Room. . . .

As Matt and I again watch this DVD we bought Sunday I am thinking ahead to my war room in our new home . . . . . I am wondering where will be the best location? Matt is planning to have his in the bedroom (there is only one bedroom and it will be his) . . . he has suggested I use a wall in the bedroom, but I'm not sure . . . I am thinking I will use a wall by the kitchen table. . . . . I need a spot where I can focus and have peace . . . a spot where I can see what I've posted. . . . I'm unconcerned about anyone seeing what I post as we literally have no company .  . . .  and so, I am still debating but leaning heavily toward the kitchen area.  . or maybe next to the recliner (what will serve as my bed) .  . . . . 
I do so much of my praying at work while I'm (don't laugh) cleaning toilets.  . . . it is a time when I am alone and can focus 100% on communication with God (cleaning funky toilets requires no brain power). . .  but it is sometimes hard to remember all I need to pray about while I'm cleaning . . . I really could use an area where I am safe to post my prayer lists . . .
Hmmmm . . . .

Quilting and Praying/Pleading . . .

An early early evening as I wasn't feeling well at work today . . . this allows for more prayer time. . lately I've been wrestling God for a clear detailed answer and tonight was more wrestling . . . I know He tells me what information He feels I can handle and I know He always keeps me safe . .   But . .  this waiting with only partial answers is not easy . . 
And so I quilt and pray . ..
