What if We Cooked for a Neighbor?

Today Willie Mae cooked breakfast for us 'just because'. We ate Mississippi Sausage, scrambled eggs, salmon patties, rice and garlic toast. She is an amazing cook, so we were stuffed!
Have you ever thought about cooking a meal for a neighbor?
How about inviting someone less fortunate for Easter supper?
What if we all cared enough to bless someone less fortunate over for Easter supper?

Think of the impact!!!

  1. I bet that was a wonderful surprise! Part of why we are starting with Meat Rabbits is because we know of 2 people in our neighborhood who are currently having to make choices between a roof over their heads and food. In fact one of them is eating canned dog food because it's all she can afford. It's heart breaking and if I can provide her healthy foods then I consider myself blessed!:)
Especially right now there are just so many people really hurting financially and bearing the weight of the world on their shoulders. What a relief it would be if someone would take them under their wing even just once in a while!
Oh - and as a way of witnessing during these "free meals" when they thank us, we tell them, "No, thank God, for without him we would not have the means ot help!"
