Wardrobe Opinions vs Bible and Budget


Good morning! Welcome back to our humble homestead!! As I dress for work this morning I'm moved to finally share about comments on wardrobe. Over the last few years I have received so many unsolicited comments on what I choose to wear, whether it's old clothes for cleaning at work, every day clothes for outings or dress clothes for church. It truly amazes me how many people (99% women) feel they are the ultimate authority on how I should dress!!
There are those who say "no skirts!", "shorter skirts", "always dress clothes", "flashier clothes"...
And yet, as I receive all this 'helpful' advise, no one asks what my personal fashion style is or, better yet, why I chose that day's outfit!
Given the option I will always wear skirts~ it's a Biblically based moral choice I don't ever regret. Given a different budget I would choose more western or country style outfits (still skirts and dresses). And, as I find items in my budget, I slowly transform from here to there...
