Making Assumptions...

I must admit I allow myself to get angry and hurt by assumptions others (usually those who don't really know me) make about me. As I was sitting here knitting I was allowing recent inaccurate comments to fester and realized (again) that it's completely irrelevant what other people think or say about me. Seriously! As long as God knows the truth (and believe me, He does!), no one else's opinion is relevant~ At All. There's a song we sang at Toledo Restoration Church that reminds me to just go forward for Him: "I know the Lord will make a way for me, for me. I know the Lord will make a way for me. If I live a holy life, shine the wrong and do what's right, I know the Lord will make a way for me!" Making assumptions and talking about people is wrong so I'm just going to shine them on, ever polite and remembering their opinions don't matter one iota!
