521 Morgan St, Joliet, IL

It is so dangerous when children play basketball in the street, especially a busy street!
Makes me wonder where their parents are?

  1. We were really poor, when I was a kid. So we were all latchkey kids. But there was always someone to watch the kids. Not in a creepy way. A grandma, a stay-at-home parent, someone unemployeed. So the neighborhood watched the kids, so nobody had to pay for child care.
I showed that I cared by tattling. At the gym. I know heat stroke when I see it. Her face was hot and her body was cold. She had a friend with her. I tried to get her to go to the ER, but she didn't want to. So I tattled to the staff. When you have a heat stroke, your brain is actually boiling. It's very dangerous. Sometimes you should tattle.
