Ponderings from the Homestead.....

My mind is rambling today... would have thought the cinnamon lip balm would have helped me focus better... ran out of cinnamon for my coffee weeks ago... not in my budget for now, either... pondering my pond... and creek bed........... need to draft new plans for out back... thinking the meadow needs to be the location for a swimming pool this year (going to watch free_cycle type sites and get us one!)... not really sure how I feel about swim suits for me, but in the 'privacy' of my own homestead it should be okay... and where should the new pond go?  And thinking of the landscaping around the lot.... I am thinking about traditional vegetable beds vs permaculture and edible landscaping... and thoughts about my driveway and how wide I want it vs palnting beds in the knee wall... wishing the roof had already been replaced as I'd Love to redo my drive completely with pretty pavers like Emilia's Dad did to their drive down the hill from us... and wanting to move that DUMB pile of dirt (clay and gravel) and put in a nice neat cinder block knee wall with picket fencing on top...
