Hat I'm currently knitting~ I am not impressed with this one.
I have pledged the forty (40) hats I knit this year will be donated, through the church I attend, to Forest Park Community Center. So far I have 2 1/2 hats finished toward a goal I have promised to have completed by December 25, 2013. I knit this many hats every year and it's good to have a solid cause to donate these to.
I am hoping to be able to find some nice yarn and beads as well as anything else that would be fun/ cool knitted into a hat. I'm going to post a request on free_cycle sites and see what happens. Last time I received five (5) lawn bags of beautiful yarns from a sweet lady in Manteno. I'm sure He will provide similarly (or better) again! |
