Sometimes the true blessings of our homestead are the little everyday things... like a clean floor... especially when shoes are muddy and wet from snowy days.

Or a fire started... and the promise of gentle warmth through to the bones in a way a new furnace never provides.

Or a sparkling bathroom... even if the fixtures aren't the most modern. Our homestead is about the comfort of the little things! Hugs, encouragement and working together as a family.
