Day 258/ 366

Hey there! Sorry I've been absent. I've had phone issues, and that's primarily what I blog from. Apparently touch screen phones wear out after about a year. Mine was over a year old and very well used. I was no longer able to do many things with it, like send texts to my blog and call anyone I had more than one phone number for. Replacing my phone was not in my budget, nor in my plan until December, but I have to have a working phone, so I bought a Samsung Comment. So far I am truly blessed by this choice of phones. And I must say the young ladies at the phone counter at Robles Plaza on Collins St are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite! I have spent a lot of time on my home life. I've been working diligently on night-training Matt again. He was completely trained until the stress of a camping trip this summer undid it all. As of today, we are at waking up dry 2 nights in a row! Yes, that does mean I've slept in puddles many nights. It's all part of this parenting process. Funny how I've been somewhat secluded/ separated for only a few days, yet it feels like weeks. But in a very good way. In this time I have spent a lot of time with God. I have talked things over with Him (mostly me fussing/ refusing to comprehend). A lot of prayer ending in a day of fasting today~ PUSH Pray Until Something Happens And, so, my '31 Days to Crazy Joy' posts are locked in my old phone. Suffice it to say, He has worked with me on my commitment to '31 Days to Obedience to Him'. My dishes are unwashed and laundry has yet to be caught up, but I am doing so much better in the areas of obedience He really needs from me. And for the 'Making Your Home a Haven~ Fall Challenge'? Well, I am doing well with that one. Even with a nightmare head cold, lighting a candle and praying for my household while praying for peace in my home was super easy. I do need to look up what today's step is.... clean up clutter a few spots in the house that have me stressed~ it is an ongoing process here and, actually means I need to break down and put all the attic stuff back up in the attic, which means a bit of undoing upgrades made mistakenly during the weatherization process. "While you're at it- clean up some clutter in your spiritual life What gets in the way of your peace spiritually?" hmmmm....... I'll have to think and pray on that one! In this short time, He has separated me from some And drawn me closer to others I have been truly alone Yet felt less alone Than ever before in my life.
