A Letter to a Friend

What does a letter to a friend need to look like? Formal stationary? Postcard? Notebook paper? In my mind a letter from a friend is a wonderful thing no matter what it's written on! I think it's more about the caring put into it. Remember the letters we wrote backwards with the four-color pens in high school? These were certainly not 'correctly' written, But, These sure were written with care! I'd much rather have a crazy backwards letter written in crazy colors on scraps of paper or a paper airplane Over A 'properly' written letter on Victorian stationary Any Day!
