Swine Flu Logic Illogical

As we prepare for the Swine Flu Pandemic, and wash our hands every five (5) minutes, we are being told to prepare for our children's schools to be shut down. We should find a daycare solution.
Okay... So we close the schools... The kids have already been exposed... So have their entire households... (DUH!)... So we send them to various daycare centers... The other children are now exposed... And we go off to work... And we expose all our co-workers and clients...
So closing the schools and not keeping the kids separated is spreading the Swine Flu faster!
Who, exactly, thinks up these plans? Did they even finish High School? Could someone with a brain step in and mentor them?
Is there anyone who would like to volunteer?

  1. kids should just be kept at school and have an eye kept on them, the relatives of theirs that have had contact with the children should go and be checked out by a doctor, looked at for symptoms. the united states has had scares before; there is no way to seriously really truely contain any viruses. if it has gotten to the schools, then it's gonna spread everywhere. if a kid gets it, they touch EVERYTHING. so then everything they touched is contaminated. and how many kids in school actually wash their hands before they eat? boom shaboom it's transmitted. kid touches money, or touches seat, hands their friend a fork or milk carton. it's unstoppable. only way to make it stop is when there is an infected kid found, quarantine. possibly after a day at school, clean the whole place, thoroughly, correctly. but really really, who puts in that much effort? chicken pox used to and sometimes still does kill. kids are more frequent to things, but they can also become immune a whole lot easier. swine flu will slowly disappear from worries just like bird flu did. people just feel the need to have something somewhere to be scared about.
