Farmer Fred and His Crazy Harem

Well, my friends, Fred and the girls are in a large dog crate in the back of an SUV riding to their new home somewhere west of Joliet. It's good to know they'll be going to a home where they'll be loved and spoiled.
Our lives were made better in so many ways by their presence and will feel empty now.
I'm at a loss for words to describe this experience... ... ... *sigh*

Thank You, Celina!

This morning we went through the drive-thru at the McDonalds on Cass St in Joliet, IL and received wonderful service from Celina. Not only was she polite (unusual at most drive-thrus) she happily gave me my change in coins for the toll road!
Honestly, when I asked for the change I really didn't expect cooperation. Wow! Was I surprised!
Kudos Celina on attention to customer needs!!!

Day 61/ 366

Fresh Eggs!
As our time with Farmer Fred and his crazy harem draws to a close we cherish every day. There's a bittersweet feeling to waving to Fred through the kitchen window in the morning. The thought of a summer without our children here seems odd and painful.
I wonder if the bureaucracy/ powers that be feel pain?

Kudos Ricky at AutoZone!

Hey, if your car needs help, stop at the AutoZone at Cass St and Collins in Joliet and see Ricky!
He knows his stuff, is efficient, polite and helpful.
I went in because I had a brake light out. Ricky not only sold me a new light at a good price, but also changed it for free and showed me how to change it as well as tips for extended use!
Thank you so much, Ricky!!!
