Excellent Service!

If you're in the area (see map) and are in need of a kind word and a sincerely friendly smile, then stop on into Western Grocery Store and see Abid! This young man truly remembers/ was taught by his late father, Abraham, what real customer service is all about.
Abid knows his customers' names and greets each of us as we walk in! He knows what we buy and actually apologizes if he's run out of an item.
Where else do you get that kind of personal service?

Gifts for His Wife

Hello! Welcome back~ glad you stopped by!
I want to show you what Matt has set up for his future wife. Yes, his future wife.
This sweet little guy has been, since kindergarten, bringing me little trinkets to set aside for his future wife.
Up until recently I was stashing these items in a drawer. Then my Mom blessed us with a variety of wooden cigar boxes. Matt chose one with a delicate band of flowers on a sticker around it to be a jewelry box for his wife. Now I have a distinct spot to store all her gifts and he has a memorable gift to give her on his wedding day!

Ephesians 4

Well, hello there!
Thought you'd like to know about our Sunday school homework again.
This week's assignments were:

1) Bring a friend
2) Repay meanness with kindness~ make a list of incidents where someone was mean to you (no names, please) and what you did to show them kindness in return.

Here is my own list:
1. Well, already this morning I have fallen short of the glory of God~ in telling someone to have a nice day and study hard, I was met with an age-appropriate, yet rude response. Rather than reply with kindness, I said, "Get out of my car." And I said it repeatedly. By the time I felt convicted, the damage was done and my passenger got on the school bus angry and sad.
2. In a situation that was handled in a hurtful manner I apologized (even though I wasn't sure what was wrong).
3.

How about your list?
